Claire is a British Wheel of Yoga qualified teacher. She believes that yoga is suitable for everyone as you can create a yoga practice around your own needs. Although her classes at Millers Yard are primarily a physical practice, flowing sequences of yoga postures and breathing practices are woven through the class bringing more fluidity and awareness to the posture work. Conscious relaxation and 'stilling the mind' are central themes throughout each class, helping to reduce stress and engage in the present moment.
Yoga practice brings so many benefits and there is always something new to learn, both in the yoga practice itself and our 'self-learning'. Creating balance, concentration and focus and feeling more at ease in our own body and mind, yoga offers many levels of nurturing our health.
