Practitioners / Teachers » Louise Fellows
My name is Louise, I’m a Pilates teacher and Expressive Writing Practitioner.
When I first started attending a Pilates class, I couldn’t believe the difference that I felt. I’d never been good at sports, and I’d never really enjoyed the gym classes that I sporadically attended. But Pilates was different. It made me feel more balanced, more in control of my movement, and more aware of my body. I decided to train as a teacher, and I’ve never looked back.
I’ve worked at a fantastic Pilates studio since 2016, with a focus on alignment and back care. I also run small, independent classes with great feedback my clients – you can see some of my testimonials at pilateslou.com
For me, doing Pilates is not about how you look – it’s about feeling good and being empowered to take the best possible care of your body. I welcome everyone – whether you’ve never exercised before, or you’re adding Pilates to your marathon training routine!
When I’m not teaching Pilates, I lead Expressive Writing groups for various organisations. Though this may sound like an odd combination, I find that the two work well together. Both involve taking time out to really focus – whether that’s on the body, or on our stories, thoughts and emotions. In fact, my “Writing on the Mat” workshops use words and movement to compliment each other – watch this space for upcoming events!
Hope to see you in class soon! Email email@example.com to book.
