Cheryl is an integrative, relational counsellor. A relational approach recognizes that our past experiences and relationships may be influencing how we think and feel today. By working relationally, Cheryl values the relationship that she has with her clients that is based on respect, honesty, and collaboration. Being an integrative counsellor means that Cheryl can use her varied experience to adapt her approach to meet your needs.
Cheryl is a British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Registered Counsellor with a master’s degree in psychotherapy from Leeds Beckett University. Cheryl is also a qualified coach and a qualified nurse. This enables Cheryl to work holistically with the mind and body. Cheryl hopes to help you understand what you are experiencing and work with you to feel more at ease. Cheryl believes you are the expert in your life experience while she is the expert in being able to facilitate a space where you can talk freely. Cheryl will be guided by you and will adapt her approach according to your needs and hopes.
