Sue is a British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Registered Counsellor who strives to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for her clients to seek and process their thoughts and feelings through various counselling techniques and psychological theories that assures each one will be guided in ways that feels comfortable and appropriate for them.

With a Masters Degree in Counselling from York St. John University, an Honours Degree in Psychology from The University of Sheffield, and coming from an extensive experience of being a Special Educational Needs classroom teacher, Sue specializes in handling clients ages 11 years old and above, many with Autism Spectrum Disorders and Asperger’s Syndrome.

As a counsellor at Open Minds Counselling Services in Donaster and a trustee at 1-2-1 Counselling York, Sue is passionate about personally continuously learning as she herself regularly goes through professional development, keeping her up to date with the best ways she can further support her clients.
