I am an accredited CBT therapist with the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapists (BABCP) with 25 years of experience in working with people with mental health difficulties. I believe in working together to find the best route forward to deal with your difficulties. My aim is to help you to find new ways of thinking and being in a safe space where you can be yourself.

Coming to therapy can be a difficult decision to make. When we are having difficulty in life our thinking can become muddled or unclear and we do things that we think might help in the short term, but can perhaps have a negative effect in the long term. This can cause us to get trapped in unhealthy cycles. You might be feeling unpleasant emotions or be trapped in a way of thinking that might be unhelpful. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) can help to unravel the complex human thoughts and emotions that sometimes contribute to being less than at our best and find new ways of thinking and being to move forward.

If you’ve got this far and you think that therapy might be worth a try why don’t you contact me by email or telephone. I offer a free telephone or video consultation so we can explore your needs and goals and help you make a decision. I look forward very much to hearing from you.
