Sarah is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist with the British Psychological Society (BPS) specialising in psychotherapy and counselling. She offers a confidential and non-judgemental space for her clients to explore their experiences and feelings. She works with adults on an open-ended or specific time period, whichever may be more helpful for her clients to live their lives fully.
The foundation of Sarah’s practice is based on psychodynamic, humanistic, and cognitive-behavioural models. These may be on a theoretical basis however, the uniqueness of each client and their individual thoughts and experiences are very much valued, encouraging their overall growth and psychological well being.
On top of her broad experience in mental health care in the National Health Service (NHS), Sarah is also registered as a Practitioner Psychologist at Health Professions Council, has a doctorate in Counselling Psychology (PsychD) from the University of Roehampton, and is a joint honours graduate from Durham University.
An initial assessment with Sarah is £50 (this will be 80 minutes) and a counselling session starts at £40. Charges may be negotiated after the initial assessment.
