Esmond Chow

I am a HCPC registered counselling psychologist and a chartered member of the British Psychological Society. I offer counselling and psychological therapy for adults in a compassionate, non-judgemental, and containing environment. I’m trained in cognitive behavioural therapeutic approaches and person-centred ways of working. I work integratively with my clients and tailor my therapeutic approach to their specific individual needs, circumstances, and pace. I work with a variety of issues and difficulties, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, phobias, grief, emotion regulation difficulties, low motivation, and interpersonal difficulties. Depending on what you hope to achieve through therapy, I also offer therapy of varying lengths – from short-term therapy to longer term open-ended therapy.

I understand that coming to therapy and opening up can be a very daunting idea, and understandably so when we are really struggling. You are not alone in this, I can offer you help in a space where there is room for you to be seen, heard, and understood. Through the process of therapy, we can work together in helping you towards your desired goals in a way that promotes your psychological wellbeing and encourages personal growth.
