Hypnosis is a safe and natural state of deep relaxation. A lovely day-dream-like state in which people usually feel very comfortable and relaxed.

The first part of the session is spent talking about what you would like to achieve and your progress so far. The therapist will then take you into a relaxed hypnotic state, you will be fully aware and fully in control, you will not be asleep and cannot be made to do anything you do not wish to do.

While you are pleasantly and deeply relaxed, the therapist communicates directly with the subconscious part of your mind, allowing you to use your own resources to make the positive changes you wish to make.

Hypnotherapy can be successfully used with many issues which includes: managing weight, fears and phobias, stress and anxiety, panic attacks, addictions, easing irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), unwanted habits such as nail biting and smoking, calming exam or driving test nerves, improving public speaking, self confidence, anger management, lifestyle changes, and even preparation for childbirth.
