What is Essentrics?

Essentrics is a full-body, dynamic stretching and strengthening workout that helps you move with ease at any age. Working every joint through its full range of motion, you build strength, improve flexibility, and achieve better posture.
Whether you’re recovering from injury, staying active, or just want to feel more confident in your body, Essentrics helps you move freely, feel balanced, and stay pain-free.

History:

Miranda Esmonde-White, a former National Ballet Dancer of Canada created Essentrics by combining the knowledge she had gained from practicing Tai-Chi, from years of physiotherapy for her back pain, and of course from her professional career in ballet, to create the Essentrics® workout. Essentrics has come a long way since teaching her first class over 35 years ago – with 25 years on PBS as their longest-running fitness show- Classical Stretch, four documentaries, a New York Times bestselling book on aging, and an Instructor Training Certification Program that’s created a vast worldwide teaching community.
